POSTPONED: Third Age Centre Conference on Combatting Ageism

October 01, 2021

  • 5:01 PM

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the rising case count of Covid-19 in our area, the current State of Emergency in the province, and the resultant changes in regulations, the board of the Third Age Centre has decided to postpone our October 1st  conference on Eradicating Ageism. This is in keeping with a decision by the conference committee late Monday afternoon, September 27.

The committee chair, Penny Pacey, said that "The committee feels strongly that the required protocols would diminish the desired outcome and purpose of the event. We do not want to jeopardize the health or safety of participants."

Details about when the conference will be re-sceduled are not available. For more information please contact Penny Pacey, Chair of the Ageism Conference at 506 261 6551.
